New train to make Tokyo airport run in 36 minutes

The kind of thing that would really work in the big cities in the US. However, the auto companies would fight it to death (except if it goes from LA to Las Vegas to lose all your money and come back) and if to take place, the project of building such train system will take 20 years start to finish as things get done here. By then, their trains probably do 5 minutes runs to the airports.
