Wi-Fi is the standard for mobile computing. The cellphone connections are not worth a damn except for small action. Major transportation hubs usually have some kind of wi-fi connection but since it is so cheap it should be universal at all major population locations. Since it is free (and it is relatively safe) that will be a disadvantage to big businesses that make money off internet time but is a big advantage to business person. Soon it will be obsolete but for now, it works well.

That's exactly what was found in a recent survey by American Airlines and HP, where some 47% of business travelers responded that Wi-Fi was the most important airport amenity, outscoring basic travels needs such as food by nearly 30 percent."
