Tap or Filtered Water?

My 2-cents on the Monday Morning Michael Bauer Show:

World's problems have been solved already. One giant step for mankind. blah blah They had a debate during the Middle Ages about how many angels can fit on tip of a needle. Bottle vs. Tap vs. Filtered. Thank God for the discipline of rhetoric. Words that stand for nothing can be politically so valuable. As soon as Foie Gras war cools off, we can have tap bottle warfare. I wonder if any REAL issues remain to discuss. And it is not Michael B that does it. It is the restaurateurs (not Millenium specifically) that will do anything for a buck. And yes some are genuinely concerned about IMPORTANT issues: Tap water anyone???

The Chronicle 2007

Filtered water is served at many Bay Area restaurants at no extra charge.

My blog post last week about Millennium offering only filtered water at a charge of $1 brought a lot of responses.

The restaurant has rethought its approach. I received this message from General Manager Erica Culp.
