This book shows some really excellent ways to shoot video and film. I have seen everyone of these movements by the camera and so have you but neither of us have noticed them so clearly. I really enjoyed the book and paid attention to the basic details and what each shot movement means on the audience side. I think it is best for someone interested in moviemaking to spend the time and read this book. The average movie fan will probably get less from the book than what the authors imply in the introduction. It is a dandy book with many illustrations. Also, it is one of the books you actually want to own in your immediate library so you can check when you notice something explained here in an actual movie. It can be a lot of fun.
